What makes It’s Your Light Candle Co. special?
Each candle is hand-poured in small batches using premium soy wax and phthalate-free fragrance oils. Our scents are thoughtfully blended to inspire self-worth, grounding, and indulgence — luxury made for the everyday woman.
Are your candles clean-burning?
Yes. We use 100% natural soy wax, lead-free cotton wicks, and toxin-free fragrance oils. No parabens, no phthalates — just a clean, beautiful burn.
Are the jars reusable?
Absolutely. Once your candle has fully burned, simply clean out the jar with warm water and soap. Use it as a chic storage container or plant holder.
✨ 2. Candle Care & Burn Tips
How long should I burn my candle?
Your first burn should last 2–3 hours, allowing the wax to melt evenly from edge to edge — this prevents tunneling and ensures an even burn throughout the candle’s life.
How do I get the best burn every time?
Trim your wick to ¼ inch before each use and keep your candle away from drafts. Never burn for more than 4 hours at a time.
What if my candle smokes or the wick mushrooms?
That’s normal! Just trim your wick before the next burn — your candle will return to its clean, steady glow.
📦 3. Orders & Shipping
When will my order ship?
All candles are hand-poured to order. Please allow 3–5 business days for processing and 2–4 business days for delivery. During holidays or launches, orders may take a little longer.
Do you offer free shipping?
Yes — U.S. orders over $75 ship free!
Do you offer local pickup?
We occasionally offer pickup at local Fredericksburg, VA pop-ups and markets. Follow us on Instagram for updates.
💌 4. Returns & Replacements
What if my candle arrives damaged?
We take every precaution to ship safely, but if your order arrives damaged, email us within 3 days with photos of the item and packaging. We’ll make it right.
Do you accept returns?
Because our candles are handmade, we don’t accept returns. However, we want you to love your experience — reach out to us directly if something isn’t perfect.

Can I add a personalized note or message?
Yes! Each order includes the option to add a gift note or affirmation card at checkout.
Do you offer bulk or event orders?
